The General Assembly through the adoption of its resolution 64/198, invited the President of the General Assembly to convene a High-Level Interactive Dialogue (HLID) of the sixty-fourth session of the General Assembly in New York on 22 March 2010, World Water Day, on the implementation of the International Decade for Action "Water for Life".
