Holy Water

Artist Ingrid Barreneche has been participating in World Water Day events since 2010. She believes we can make a difference and create awareness of how privileged we are for being part of the earth and being together in this journey of life. 

Regarding this World Water Day piece she says: "Water is Holy... sacred. Through my artwork I try every day to encourage people to become more involved and informed about the importance of water for our survival; and how we can try to be proactive and think of new ways to preserve water in our communities and make it available and safe for every human being and for nature.”
