British Landscape photographer Charlie Waite took this stunning photo of Rio Uruguay. Charlie Waite was on a mission to capture the wetland sites of Uruguay as part of a project by the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands and the government of Uruguay to promote eco-tourism and improve the livelihoods of the local population living in and around the Esteros de Farraps and the Banados del Este, both recognized as Wetlands of International Importance.
