According to the World Economic Forum, water crises are the single most impactful risk facing the world today. At the same time 2/3 of the world’s largest companies are reporting exposure to water risks, some of which have potential to limit growth. Water stewardship helps companies make invaluable contributions to solving the world’s water crises, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and supporting human rights. It also enables them to seize the ever-growing list of water opportunities available to their companies. Ultimately stewardship empowers businesses to identify and manage the many water risks threatening their growth and viability.
