Fishing for education

Access to a quality education is essential for sustainable development. Unfortunately, for too many children displaced by violent conflict, this goal remains elusive. But children living in Yida, a town along the Sudan-South Sudan border that is home to 70,000 refugees, have taken matters into their own hands. They are using proceeds from fishing to cover the cost of their education and make their futures brighter. Learn more and see the inspiring pictures from UNHCR.
