Art has the power to change the world for the better. This idea sits at the heart of herARTS in Action, an NGO based in Minnesota, USA. For World Water Day 2016, the organization has teamed up with eight celebrities to produce and auction off original art to fund safe water programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. According to actor Kristoffer Polaha, the organization's Celebrity Ambassador, "The most compelling aspect of herARTS in Action is how it seeks to use the power of art to affect change in the world. As an artist, that's a huge idea.”
