Water and Forests

22.03.2016

Water and trees are inexorably linked. Access to water sustains trees and the species that depend on them, and trees help to recharge groundwater, promote water quality, and foster rainfall. Together, water and trees support life and livelihoods in numerous ways.

The linkages between these two essential natural resources are celebrated on Monday, 21 March at UN Headquarters in New York. Visit the event page for more information.
