Monrovia past Ebola
20.03.2016Two years ago, the largest Ebola outbreak in history began in Guinea before spreading to neighboring Liberia. As West Point, the slum community in the Liberian that became a centerpiece of the epidemic, moves beyond this crisis, its residents continue to suffer the impacts of poor access to safe water and sanitation, along with limited employment opportunities. To address these challenges, the ILO has launched a project to engage youth in Ebola-affected communities to build and maintain the necessary WASH infrastructure.
